You Only Die Twice of the Day: A 49-year-old woman from the Republic of Tatarstan had a bit of a nasty shock when she woke up in a coffin after being declared dead by doctors. The shock was so nasty in fact that she dropped dead.

Kazan resident Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov was being prepared for burial after supposedly dying of a heart attack. She opened her eyes only to find herself surrounded by praying mourners, and subsequently died for real.

“Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital,” her husband Fagili Mukhametzyanov is quoted as saying, “but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good.”
